PTSD Won't Stop Me

Through the kindness and support we have received from community members, we are able to continue our mission and serve our participants, like Tammy.

Tammy was diagnosed with a crippling disease, struggling with PTSD, and feeling the loneliness of moving to a new location without a military base. She was feeling completely alone and isolated. Until she found Rising Hope Therapeutic Riding Center.

Within the first session, Tammy said "I found myself looking forward to things in life again." With the support of the Rising Hope team, and Dakota, Tammy was able to pull herself out of the box she had packed herself up in. When you ask Tammy now how she feels she will respond, "it feels so good to be free of it."
